CanSkate
Fully supervised 60-minute learn-to-skate program for children 5 years old and up, Teens and Adults. It includes a group lesson and two skill activity sessions using a large ice surface to build strong skating skills. Badges are awarded to skaters as they progress from CanSkate Stages 1 to 6. Advanced CanSkate Excellence (A.C.E.)
This is a program for the enthusiastic skater in CanSkate Stage 4 through Stage 6. The aim is to accelerate and enhance skating skills for those interested in advancing to Junior quickly. The age 7 or older skater must participate in two ACE sessions per week. C.S.A. approved helmets and mittens mandatory for Stage 4. Helmets optional (at parent’s discretion in writing) from Stage 5 and up.

Junior
For CanSkate or ACE skaters who have passed CanSkate Stage 6. Skaters will participate in a 10- minute group stroking lesson and a 15-minute lesson on spins, jumps, field movements and dance. A private coached lesson is mandatory for skaters at this level. Proper skating attire required (i.e. skirt, dress or leggings).

Of f - Ice Sessions
Off-ice training is offered to STARSkate skaters to strengthen and develop the fundamentals of jumps, spins, body awareness, presentation and endurance. Two-day members are entitled to one off-ice session per week as part of their program. Please refer to the schedule for your appropriate session.
